Year 1, Complete…

This photo was taken to commemorate members of the Lattal Lab during the 2024–2025 school year. For me, it marked an especially exciting milestone—my first year as a PhD student in the Behavior Analysis program at West Virginia University. It was an eventful year of research, during which I completed two experiments examining different facets of the extinction burst, as well as a study on social stimulus control by the behavior of an interspecific partner. Looking back, I’m grateful for the experiences, challenges, and collaborations that shaped this first step in my doctoral journey, and I look forward to what lies ahead.
